Bowen Therapy is a unique non intrusive complementary hands on therapy/bodywork, based on theory that gentle moves over precise points of the body can prompt the body’s innate ability to relieve pain, restriction and imbalance without the need for deep, manipulative or forceful treatment.
Due to the gentle nature of the therapy, it can be used on anyone: newborns, seniors, athletes, pregnant women, athletes to just ordinary people. Bowen Therapy can address a variety of conditions, both chronic and acute.
Bowen Therapy treatment is pleasant – therapists use light, cross-fibre manoeuvres of muscle, tendon or ligament with no forceful manipulation. Treatment is usually done through the light clothes, no lotions or oils are used. There is no cracking, probing or other kind of forceful manipulation.
Sometimes people do not expect such a powerful effect after such a gentle and light manipulations. However, our bodies do not always need rough manipulations in order to be healed.
Bowen Therapy often may help where the other therapies fail.
Treatment usually does not always need to be continuous. Sometimes just a few sessions may change the situation.
Indian Head Massage
Did you know that lots of stress is getting accumulated in your scalp, head and upper body?
Indian Head Massage (Champissage) is a specialty relaxation massage and is different from your regular massage in that it focuses on the scalp, head, face, energy points on the head and ears after preparatory work is performed on the neck, shoulders, arms and upper back.
It is very relaxing and can have a balancing effect on the recipients as it can help them to release stress and tension , creating a sense of peace and well-being. It also helps to reduce anxiety, to improve sleep and concentration. People often find that they enjoy a more restful, deeper sleep afterwards. Some people say Indian Head Massage positively affects their entire body. It also can help to those who practice yoga or meditations.
Indian Head Massage has its roots in Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years.
It is usually performed with a base oil (such as grape seed or similar), mixed with specially created blend of essential oils, so people may also find it is beneficial for the hair.
Indian Head Massage is now widely practiced and is well known in UK and is gaining popularity in Canada and USA.

“About once a year for the last 5 years I’ve had vertigo attacks. I have tried acupuncture, cranio-sacral therapy and other alternate therapies and some have helped but the vertigo still lingered on in a milder form for weeks and months. I sought help from Yuliana and the Bowen Therapy for the first time. I felt very relaxed after my first session and I had some relief after my second session. After a couple more sessions with Yuliana, the vertigo was gone. I’ve now had a several months being free of vertigo and I feel wonderful.”
